The Association for Women Insurance (Qld) were pleased to host more than 110 guests at our annual International Women’s Day Luncheon on 8 March 2016.
The views from QUT’s Room Three Sixty provided a magnificent backdrop for professional networking and reflection on women’s issues that impact on our industry.
International Women’s Day is recognized globally and provides a forum to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. This year, organizers used the occasion to make a call to action for accelerating gender parity. We were reminded that we each have an important role to play in making parity the norm for future generations of women.
