Young insurance professionals - this one’s for you!
The Association for Women in Insurance (Qld) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Young Insurance Professional 26/27 Grants. An initiative designed to support the development of young insurance professionals in Queensland.
The Association will grant three successful candidates a yearly WII membership with free tickets to all major networking events in FY 26/27 valued at approximately $600.00, including:
- AGM - September 2026
- Christmas Party - December 2026
- International Women’s Day event - March 2027
ELIGIBILITY:
- Open to professionals working in the insurance industry only
- Up to 3 years of insurance industry experience
TO APPLY:
- Complete and return the application form to info@womenininsurance.com.au
- Provide copy of your CV
KEY DATES:
- 13 July 2026 - Applications open
- 7 August 2026 - Applications close
- 21 August 2025 - Winners notified
- 3 Sep 2026 - Winners announced and presented with certificates at AGM
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- Grant is for a yearly membership and includes 1 free ticket to all major networking events hosted by WII during the FY 26/27 year
- Tickets are non-transferrable
- Applicants are not required to be current members of the Association
- Estimated Grant Value: $600
Successful candidates:
- To provide headshot
- Must arrange their own leave from their workplace
- Must attend at least 2 events
- Will be seated with the other successful candidates at events
- Will provide a statement about their experience at the end of the yearly membership for marketing purposes
