Trauma-Informed Mediation

Words have meaning and actions have consequences.

As insurance professionals, the way that we interact with others can have long lasting repercussions – both positive and negative – to individuals and the work we are engaged to do.

Whether mediating a matter involving historical abuse, or managing local or international disputes, there are many trauma-informed strategies and techniques that can be employed to enhance effective communication and minimise the risk of harm.

Drawing on their vast experience of working across a variety of sectors, join Luke Geary, Partner at Mills Oakley and Alison Haly, Mediator, for a discussion about how and why a trauma-informed approach works for all concerned, including clients.

This is a critical professional development session you will not want to miss.
