DESCRIPTION:Women In Insurance (Qld) AGM Luncheon returns on 18 September 2025. \nThis year we look to Tackle the Ordinary with our sell-out luncheon being held at Tattersall’s Club.  Join us for an afternoon networking with your industry professionals and challenging the status quo\, engaging in strategic change management and personal development with a little bit of footy flair. \nWe’re serving up our AGM event with a veteran of the Australian Army now high-level strategic consultant\, business and personal development coach Master of Ceremonies from Eighth Mile Consulting and featuring a keynote interview with Karina Brown\, who knows a thing or two about breaking lines – on and off the field.  Expect frank conversation\, fresh connections and a room full of professionals who don’t just follow the play book\, they re-write it.  Seats are limited. Don’t drop the ball and secure yours now. \nKeynote Speaker – Karina Brown\, Rugby League Trailblazer \nKarina Brown is a proud Jillaroo\, Queensland Maroons captain\, and one of the true pioneers of women’s rugby league in Australia. Renowned for her speed\, leadership\, and determination\, Karina has been a driving force in the growth of the women’s game at both grassroots and elite level. \nA World Cup winner with the Australian Jillaroos in 2017\, she has also captained Queensland in the State of Origin and represented her state and country in numerous landmark matches. At club level\, Karina has played across the NRLW\, including with the Sydney Roosters and Gold Coast Titans. \nBeyond her on-field success\, Karina has been instrumental in establishing pathways for women in rugby league—helping to build teams\, inspire young players\, and create opportunities for the next generation. Balancing her sporting career with her professional work\, she is recognised as a leader who has not only achieved at the highest level but also given back to the game in lasting ways. \nClothing Drive  \nThis year\, Women In Insurance (Qld) proudly support Suited for Success by undertaking a clothing drive to assist provide practical resources to spread their work in providing free styling\, clothing and career support services for people in need throughout Queensland.
