“Cracking the code: Innovation for a gender equal future” is an apt theme for the 2023 International Women’s Day. In a world where self driving cars are almost a reality, and AI lawyers are figuratively traversing the steps of the courthouse, it beggars belief that there is still a gender pay gap in Australia of almost 23%, only 22.3% of CEOs are women and only 1 in 4 organisations have a gender balanced leadership team.* Despite society undergoing an incredible period of innovation and unprecedented data collection, there remains a failure to convert those resources into meaningful solutions to address and remedy gender inequality.
Join our panel of experts working across STEM and emerging technologies for a thought provoking discussion about gender equality in Australia and strategies and innovations that have the potential to make a real, and positive, impact combating discrimination and the marginalisation of women.
The discussion will be followed by the opportunity to continue the conversation with fellow attendees while enjoying canapés and wine/beer/soft drinks.
Details of our panelists will be provided very soon.
We look forward to seeing you there.
