“What the %$!!!is wrong with you?” and other ways not to communicate – the dialogue of champions
This is the topic that will bring together our community on International Women’s Day.
‘Accelerate Action’ is the 2025 IWD theme, focusing on the march towards a gender equal world, free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. It is a call to action, looking at decisive and tangible steps that we can take individually and globally.
Women are particularly vulnerable in an environment of conflict as it causes long term interruptions to their education, health, financial independence and career opportunities. The way we communicate can heighten or reduce conflict. Thus, how we manage that is key to the acceleration of action towards gender equality, greater diversity and inclusion.
In 2025, we are honoured and privileged to have Alison Haly as our guest speaker for International Women’s Day.
Alison is a renowned international and local mediator, making a difference in the way we engage in dialogue and manage conflict. Alison’s insight, humour and communication skills will be on full display, in what is sure to be an outstanding event, not to be missed.
